A new(er) version of the West family tree document has been posted to the "Family Tree" page.  The family chart has been helpful to some of us who have had trouble remembering our kids names and such.  It was noted that it would also be nice to be able to associate a face with the names, so...

The "tree" format has been expanded to include a mini-thumbnail of each person listed in the chart (that I have a fairly recent photo for, that is).  There are still a number of "blanks" that will be filled in as I get more data and pictures.

If you have information about your family that is missing from the tree (e.g. birth dates, correct names, photos, etc.), please send it to me at jws@westclan.info and I will update the chart.

The tree has also been updated with more information about the Andrew West family (et al.) that was found through document name searches on the internet.  Some of the information  has been found in more than one source, which tends to make it more reliable, and new information has been uncovered.  More about the information and sources will be detailed in a later article.

Also, if anyone has more information about the D.L. West, Sr. brothers and sisters, such as birth dates, marriage dates, spouse names, names of their children, and such, please help update the family history.  Old documents, obituaries or family bibles are the best sources of information, if you have them.  "Wanted Posters" don't count.    JWS  q
